Announcement: New Job and New Eidolon
Hello dear players! To start the month with a bang, we have prepared a brand new Job for you, alongside a new Eidolon! We hope you will enjoy them for what they are, thanks for your attention!
![]() MACGYVER In the beginning, there were the Ancients. Their technology was unparalleled: they had managed to master the ability to travel from world to world, dimension to dimension and had nearly accomplished the ultimate goal of any civilization: eternity. And yet, as mighty as they were, the Ancients were only mortals and eventually their technology failed them. Their machines broke down and nothing but despair was left. But then, in the direst of moments as all hope was lost-- A man with a roll of duct tape appeared to them. Strengths: With a single Job, it is basically possible to accomplish everything that the others Jobs can. Of course, it is not possible for a MacGyver to use magic, but there is no need for it. Indeed, MacGyvers can or fix or create about anything with a paperclip and a hairpin. Their skills are fearsome, allowing MacGyvers to do virtually anything, whether it is fixing a broken pot or saving the multiverse. Weaknesses: It is said those equipping this Job are fated to cross path with a crazed maniac bearing a grudge against them for some incomprehensible reasons. Legends say this maniac will always find a way to escape death and will become their enemy till the end of days. Use with caution. |
Initial | Swiss Army Knife | A simple knife with multiple functions. |
One Month | Map | An outdated map made of paper, making of it an excellent multi-tool. |
Two Months | Shoelace | When ambushed by a T-Rex and a Behemoth, look no further than for your shoes. |
Three Months | Pen | A tool that can prove it is indeed mightier than the sword. |
Four Months | Bubble Gum | A bubblegum that might save your life in many ways. |
Six Months | Hairpin | A hairpin, handy to repair toys or Ancient super-computers. |
Nine Months | Paper Clip | A tool that will always get you out of tight spots. |
One Year | Duct Tape | The supreme tool. Makes the impossible possible. |
![]() ANNOYING DOG A traveler of worlds, said to be followed by a music fillings summoners with rage and those witnessing the event with laughters. The Annoying Dog is a very special Eidolon that can only be summoned when you don't want to summon it. Were you hoping to summon Odin to slice this horde of Marlboro? Too bad. Had you hoped to kill Palitutu with Bahamut? The joke is on you. This Eidolon has no known use besides being a nuisance and forcing unfortunate summoners to reconsider their life choices. Too Many Dogs Characters summoning the Annoying Dog will see their inventory fill with Dog Residues, along with that of all their allies. While this isn’t tragic in itself, it may become tragic if they eventually win their battle and realize they cannot take the precious drop because the Dog Residues won’t go away. At least you can sell it for 1 or 2 Gil in specialized shops. Doge Deployment In certain circumstances, the inventory isn’t filled with Dog residues, but only with the annoying Dog itself. Dropping or deploying the annoying dog will result in the dog absorbing something nearby. It might be that Sapphire Crystal you fought for, it might be the enemy monster, it might be your 100 000 Gil reserve. No matter the result, the dog will just go away and leave you to your misery afterward. |
