Fayt will be riding along with the character called Faize from Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Faize is not coming from a happy canon point in his life, but in Crystallis he'd had time to work on pulling himself together a little.... and a friend from home, someone he used to believe in above all else: Edge Maverick. But a few months ago, Edge fell in battle against the Crystalline entities, and that's when what little brittle healing Faize did went to hell. He has no real motivation to return home when he's not sure how much of his home and people there is left due to canon events, so he's going to be equal parts driven and emotionally unstable, with the mentality that there's really nothing lost if he dies. He's a Wizard (Red Mage + Warrior) who uses a rapier in combat, and I'll be using an alt account (kingofdummies) for the sake of icons.

I've offered him up to do a suicide charge if the group wants this to happen, especially if negotiations take too long, which could end in his death and the death of Blair and one other, perhaps, if they get in the way.
