As for what will happen after endgame, there are many possibilities and leaving the possibility to play in the setting is one of them-- Though again, it'll depend on what ending you get, given that in at least one of the bad endings, there won't be a Crystallis left for you to play in.

As for Native OCs, them being Doppelgangers is a possibility we're exploring and would potentially open up new possibilities for events, as well as give them more importance to the overall plot.
