The Starlight Celebration
Hello everybody, this is Christmas and as we said in the monthly information post, all of Aqures Ixen is celebrating both on Christmas Eve and Christmas itself. Christmas Carols left and right, Santa Clauses everywhere, gigantic banquets with turkeys and the likes as well as gift-giving for children-- There will also be fireworks both at midnight during Christmas Eve and on the 25th just before the end of the day.
Additionally, all characters can claim a free Regain or a free Job. One or the other, not both. On the morning of the 24th a letter was technically sent on Mognet informing your characters that if they speak to Jessie sometimes on the 24th or 25th, she'll give them what they want within the realm of possibilities. Jessie can be found attending the festivities along with Biggs and Wedge (and all wearing a Santa hat). Actual interactions will be handwaved.
For Jobs, you can check the list here, but remember that your character can only have two Jobs equipped at once and three in reserve, so a total of maximum five Jobs. If they get a sixth, they'll have to discard one. As for the regain: it can be something your character willingly picks, something you pick for them but they have no control over ICly, or something totally random which the mods will pick for you. Things too big or that could break the game might not be accepted as regains.
To get a free regain, Jessie will give your character a White Crystal. While focusing, the White Crystal will cast a projection of the item they desire to regain. If the projection corresponds to the item they want to regain, Jessie will take the white crystal back and have the regain sent to them through Mognet before midnight on the 25th.
The process to project the correct item with the White Crystal requires a bit of mental focus though. If the character fails to focus, Jessie will lose patience and pick something at random. If you want your characters' regain to be out of their control and something they possibly didn't want, this is the way to do it. Please fill this form and post it in the regain thread for your regain to be approved.
