melodiesooc | A New Hope: OOC Plotting Post

Hello, this post is for you to plot and coordinate everything about the current event, as the first event post is now getting a bit old. Refer to this post for previous plotting and event details.

As a reminder, all new characters + all those who were made prisoners back in January are prisoner in the Heran Research Center. A team will be attacking the Research Center, while another will be going in to rescue the Heroes kept prisoner inside. Meanwhile in the Imperial City, many characters are interacting with imperial agents, both to create distraction and further their own plans.

At the same time than the rescue team will attack, power will flicker in the research facility. Power will go on and off at intervals, meaning this would be the ideal moment for imprisoned characters to do whatever they have in mind. The doors won't magically open, so if they have a plan of some sort to get out, they will have to enact it.

This post will be updated as the event progress. Player plans and new enemies encountered relating to what is happening within the Research Facility will be posted here to make tracking things easier.

Yeah they are the smallest and set to go first because i always figured that the first time they pry the door open it wouldn't be a wide gap because 'lol how do you door' during the first attempt. I figured as they get a feeling about them, the doors will be forced open longer until someone can get out and hack the keypad on the other side to keep the doors open.

So them hitting the second floor and meeting up with Luffy and whoever else would be fine. I know Kenshin would be heading down because he figures a ~~air~~ship means there is a port down there which means a route out. It won't take much for Lydia to convince him to go even further because he is just that much putty in the hands of a young person.

Lydia would easily be able to convince them to check out lvl 27, and she likes adventure, so we can do that. Plus, helping the Moogles and this Cid person!

Awesome! I'm all for the idea of them rejoining and splitting off from there as well. I imagine Yuffie, being Yuffie and all, would probably just tell Luffy where she thinks he should go and then they'd all break up that way. So long as we can get everyone involved, be it directing them to the ship or focusing them elsewhere to knock heads or save Moogles, etc, I'm all for whatever people would like to do.

Feel free to drag Kenshin along and be standing there all 'okay okay let's just do the thing already' kinda sorta while I'm at work.

Lydia's right behind Kenshin, so if You want her to chime in, I can. Otherwise she's staying kind of quiet. This is not her strength, and she knows it. ^_^
