Event: The Night of the Thirteen Moogles
The Night of the Thirteen Moogles is approaching and the sky grows darker... Those who have been in this world for over a year may remember what terrible events befell the Heroes of Light on this day. But the leader of the Twelve Moogles trying to revive King Moggle Mog has been defeated and captured, so everything should be alright, right?
And so, on the 31st of October, the Night of the Thirteen Moogles will be celebrated in Aqures Ixen! It will be cancelled everywhere else however, because of the terrible weather: storms, tornadoes, thunder, and yet above Aqures Ixen it's only cloudy. Because the Heroes of Light captured all the monsters to complete the quest, yet didn't go out of their way to capture a lot more than necessary, they will have neither an advantage nor a disadvantage in the upcoming battle. Feel free to use this post to plot or ask questions!
The Celebrations
Characters in Aqures Ixen will be free to celebrate the Night of the Thirteen Moogles, starting 17:00! It is very much like Halloween, and characters will be able to go treat-and-tricking at their heart's content. The subtle difference with regular Halloween is the presence of real ghosts. They are more numerous than ever and it will be literally impossible to avoid on that day. That won't deter the boldest inhabitants of Aqures Ixen however, and it certainly won't deter the Heroes of Light, right?
There will be no logs for this, so if you'd like to post a player-driven Mingle Log for the celebration, feel free to do it!
Finding The Location
At midnight, something very special is going to happen. There will be a log for it, and its content shall not be divulged in this post. The characters have received a letter announcing this event, and there is a specific location where they'll be awaited. If the characters manage to find this location, they'll get more exposition and they will be able to face the threat right on time. If they don't find the location, the new threat will attack them by surprise, they won't have any exposition and they will be at a serious disadvantage.
You can reply to the thread below to guess where they have to go-- However, you have only five tries collectively. If you try to guess five times, there won't be a sixth guess allowed and we will post the worst-case log. If you're not sure, do not reply and think thoroughly. You can use the letter, what you know and the NPC contact to try and get more information. The mods will not give any clues if asked. Good luck!
The Unfortunate Hero
In the morning on the 31st, a Hero of Light is going to be abducted. Why, how, by who? Nobody knows. And the least that can be said is that this Hero of Light is... Going to have a very bad day. And of course, this Hero of Light could be yours! If you volunteer, sign-up on the form behind. Before posting the log, we will RNG who gets picked and message you. If you're not messaged by the time the log goes up, it means your character hasn't been picked! if you're messaged, it means your character is out of luck.
The log with the event will go up on Wednesday! Each player can submit only one character. Keep in mind if you get picked, the event may be very traumatizing for the character and may result in (temporary) death. Furthermore, they won't be able to go trick-and-treating, or do anything at all on that day for the matter.
• Double Exp
Anyone participating in this event or who participated in the first half of the event will have double experience for the month. Practically speaking, this means their equipped Jobs will progress of two months instead of one!
• Free Item
Because the quest has been completed, all characters who participated in capturing ghosts will get a free O'aka item. There will be a section for item request in the next Information Post.
