What's up Melodies!

I'm Teek/Eric, a new player here squeaking by just in time for the Grand Finale. (I always was the one to show up fashionably late to a party.) I'll be playing the Wandering Anime Swordsman To End All Wandering Anime Swordsmen, Kenshin Himura from Rurouni Kenshin. Once the most notorious assassin of the Bakumatsu conflict of latter 1800s Japan, Kenshin has spent ten years wandering under a new vow to never again take a life, a journey that has resulted in...well, in this guy.

For all that, he's a pretty pleasant fellow! First in the charge and last in retreat whether it's sword fights or house chores, Kenshin is a little goofy, but a friendly and gentle sort, and eager to lend what help he can to the Heroes of Light in the final days on Crystallis. As the endgame unfolds, you'll find him wholeheartedly supportive and dedicated to your success, protection, and possibly your nutrition if you let him spot you a home-cooked meal now and then (he doesn't think very highly of his cooking, but he loves to do it, and the Heroes need their ramen fix). MoL has been on my RP radar for a while, so it's great to be here and I'm really excited to meet everybody. Hello new friends!

My name is Maximillion, though some of you may know me as Dr. Hojo from this year's A-Next. I'll be playing Keith Kogane from Voltron: Legendary Defender. Keith is an impulsive fighter who trusts his instincts. He's always ready to complete his mission, though he won't always go by the book. While usually calm and aloof he can be quick to show his temper when challenged or hitting a road block. That being said, he can be kind and protective of his team mates once he gets to know them. Unfortunately, his inability to read social cues or understand culture references can make him struggle to follow a conversation.

While he won't be quick to accept his new place in Crystallis, once he has connected this mission with his previous one he will be a force to be reckoned with. They'll have more trouble keeping him out of trouble than trying to drag him onto the field! Keith has been taken out of the series right after the end of Season 1.

He's easy to get along with and does the best he can for everyone around him. Though, he can also be rather impulsive and reckless when his friends are in danger... He's known in canon for his pure heart and optimistic personality, i.e; he can see the bright side of just about any situation.

He'll be super excited to be an entirely different world and will definitely want to explore what he can, but he'll also want to fight to make things as right as he can.

For those curious, I took him from directly before the end of the game!

Hello all, I'm Rayne, and I'm bringing Naminé from Kingdom Hearts to MoL! In her canon, she has the power to heck up the memories of a certain person (who also just arrived to MoL) called Sora. And she actually hecked them up too, before she regretted it badly and proceeded to spend a year holed up in a white room fixing them for him. Fun.

For those not canon blind, she's from the end of KH2 because that's literally the last place she has any sort of plot significance to this series. Sigh.

Being stripped of her powers here will be a terrifying, amazing experience for her, so please feel free to throw all your characters at her and whip her into fighting shape <3 I'm at

HELLO AGAIN, EVERYONE.

It's a Twi, the ~~wild demon moogle of a~~ helper+ mod bringing back this lovely young lady by the name of Alisaie Leveilleur from Final Fantasy XIV. She's still from the point of having witnessed the ending cutscene of Patch 3.1 As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness, as she was in her previous visit to the realm of awareness. Though for those who have no idea who this woman is and the game from which she hails, I will summarize:

Alisaie is a strong-willed woman who has trained in matters arcane and esoteric from an absurdly young age alongside her twin brother Alphinaud, but wherein he succeeds in learned pursuits, she excelled elsewhere. Having disagreed to pandering the grand companies and their leaders, she set off on her own journey, and if [player character] had never met with her, that would be the end of it until much later. She was heavily involved in the Binding Coil of Bahamut story arc, after which she traveled Eorzea, studying different disciplines of magic and picking up odd jobs here and there. One of which was as an armed escort of a merchant caravan...

Being one of the Heroes the others finally came across in Mysidia during the Another Side, Another Story event, her crystal is unable to change to blue.

Hello all!

My name is Xae and I was here a loooong time ago with some other muses (if you recognize me, then you're an oldbie probably). Today I bring you one ~~of hopefully two~~ Sora from the hit series Hearts of the Kingdom! It's this popular thing about a kid who hops around on different worlds trying to find the two loves of his life while simulataneously trying to help out. There's also a talking duck and dog as his constant companions who are often the funny relief. Normally he'd have some sweet ass battle scenes but unfortunately here's he's just some dumb kid with a heart that's too big for his chest.

Anyway, one thing to know about Sora is that he comes from a whole bunch of different DW games including a torture box in space, a persona-based world and then some crappy kingdom where bad stuff happened. He's spent about 4 years in total in these various places and has some serious emotional and mental damage because of it. Oh, and he met A LOOOOOOT OF PEOPLE. Like if you thought KH was bad with all the characters they introduced into it, Sora here can top that number. Chances are he won't actually say anything about it though (unless you want him too!) because that involves a lot of emotional stuff that he'd also kind of rather not talk about. And if he doesn't know someone straight out, he knows a friend. Mostly this is probably directed towards the Final Fantasy cast in general, but hey, looking at the list of taken people you might all be safe from this. Pretty much anything you need to know about this changed kid can be found over on his application.

He is housed in B-10 alongside his evil face twin Vanitas (THAT IS GOING TO GO SO WELL) and Meredy. Sorry he brought along his cat. ~~Vanitas he swears to light if you hurt his cat he will make your life living hell~~

Mirai Kuriyama from the anime Beyond the Boundary or Kyōkai no Kanata in Japanese. She is smol and cute and explosively irritated and shy and nervous and clumsy and badass all rolled into one. In canon, Mirai used her own blood to fight creatures known as youmu (or demons) though not very well at the start. Friending is hard for her sometimes because any sense of normality kind of died right in front of her eyes once upon a time. Though she has gotten a little better at it thanks to a bunch of annoyances that wouldn't exactly leave her alone.

Hey, Melodies! This is Rune, the person who plays an angry horse man turned deer monster (Dylas,

sullenstallion) with another game transplant.

Some of you might remember Hibiki Ganaha from her first stay.

But now she's Hibiki Ganaha, survivor of what is basically Dangan Ronpa With Ghosts (she's murder game CR!AU, in other words). Instead of a hamster, she has a hen! She has a cool scar over her eye because she was killed and then revived! She's pretty much the same Hibiki, except she's doing a lot better at growing up.

Being murdered does that to you.

Anyways, she's in B-12 with Chrom and Pyrrha, she's a Beastmaster/Dancer, and...I forgot to mention her personality, oops. She's basically 200% emotion! She's either sunshine or she's crying or she's angry. She loves animals and dancing. This will be great. Nankurunaisa, gang.

towerofanimus memories, where he spent well over a year trying to survive the dangerous waters of being more aligned with the other antagonist characters against the admins while feeding inconsequential information to the goody two shoes who (he felt) refused to act half the time. He's been assigned B-06 for housing.

The second is this lovely woman here, Ellena Lavellan from Dragon Age: Inquisition. She's a Dalish mage and went the more diplomatic and sympathetic options half the time, and willingly offered to lead before being declared the Inquisitor. She'll be working hard to get Illusionist and Summoner up in what time remains, and has been assigned B-08 for housing.

Hello, I use the name sacredancestor and D from Vampire Hunter D is my first character to Melodies of Life. I was directed to this site by the person playing Vincent Valentine.

D(he won't tell you his full name though you can ask) is a dhampire (half Vampire/half human) or he was. Now he's full vampire. That will not be a pleasant shock to him. First off, D hunts vampires, as his canon implies, so I don't know if he'll change his stripes anytime soon. Second, he appears very standoffish and cold, but he listens to everything said to him. With that being said, he only speaks when he feels he has useful information to say. For the most part, he doesn't speak often and would rather assess the situation target than run blind.

D appears to show no emotions and smiles very very rarely. Make no mistake, though, his emotions run very deep. He is well mannered and guarded, but I'm sure with a measure of kindness and polite respect for boundaries, this Vampire will open up. Somewhat.

He starts out as a Vampire/Dragoon combination and will fight with cold savagery. In his original universe he would suffer from sunlight syndrome and need to dig a hole in the earth to bury himself. I don't know how that will affect him now.

Hi everyone! Here's Yume again with another character (since Jaeha last time didn't work out as well as I had hoped he would).

His name is Kija, and he's also from Akatsuki no Yona, and again, he is also a dragon-warrior. In many aspects, he is basically a polar opposite to Jaeha. He's been raised loved and pampered due to his status and as a result, is very gullible and naive. Here comes my exclaim to not leave him alone because he probably can't survive on his own. He's usually sweet, blushes like 80% of the time for about everything and has a phobia of bugs. In fights he tends to get a little bloodthirsty, though, but never to the extent that he becomes a mindless murder machine.

His jobs are Paladin and Dark Knight and his home is going to be in C-01 in the 11th District, apparently.

In hopes he'll work better out, I'm looking forward to be playing with you guys (again).

Hello, hi, hey there my name is Mars!! Though I also go by Maria, so calling me either or both interchangeably is fine. As it is I'm not just new to the game but also, well, completely new to DW in general! I've never done this before so I'm just sorta testing waters and I apologize if I might not know my way around/seem confused for a while (OTL), but I saw a lot of my friends have so much fun DW-rping and telling me how enjoyable it is.

So in the end I thought, why the heck not, I'll bring ~~the biggest nerd in the prosecuting office~~ Miles Edgeworth from Ace Attorney into these uncharted territories.

No matter how well you'll get to know him, Edgeworth's always going to be a pompous stick in the mud. He seems kinda stuffy and may come off as condescending or rude with his incessant snarking but! He doesn't mean it most of the time and is actually a good person. I swear.

That said though, I am not averse to your character making fun of him. In fact, I encourage you to make fun of him.

He's starting out as a Scholar/Vampire combo, and I honestly won't be lying if I told you I chose the latter just because I thought it'd be funny. But since I like to imagine him as fairly non athletic, I decided to give him something that'd give him strength to balance out the Scholar job's puniness. He also resides in B-12 with Robin and Morgan so I hope he's not intruding mother and son quality time.

Meet Billy Lee Black, the 16 yea old gunner-priest from Xenogears. For those unfamiliar with Xenogears, you can get a rough idea of it if you mentally stick a giant mech and an Intro to Abnormal Psych textbook into a blender together, and then take away the budget halfway through. It's magical. Billy is currently interested in helping orphans, examining Magitek armor ~~and figuring out why there are no giant mechs yet~~, and creating elemental bullets. This Uncle Scrooge comes from the comics and he is very impatient to get working in order to become the richest duck in Crystallis.
